It's nearly time for the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, Ukraine! With the contest about three weeks away, it's time for the Eurovision Song Contest Wiki to find some contributors.

The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition held among active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The Contest made its debut in Lugano, Switzerland on 24 May 1956 with the aim of reuniting Europe after many years of war. Seven nations took part performing two songs each.

When you think of Eurovision, you will probably think of the "bearded lady" Conchita Wurst, or the "Epic Sax Guy" (Sergej Stepanov). You may think of political neighbour voting or even greats such as ABBA, Celine Dion or Johnny Logan. Whatever you think of Eurovision, …

Hey guys! I'm ThePhoenixGhirl and today I'm here to talk to you about my wiki, Wiki Writers Wiki Writers]! I created this wiki to help those who want to do something in the writing industry as while it may not seem like it the writing business is alot hard than what you would think.

I have always had a keen interest in writing but recently I have decided that I would like to do more than just write fanfictions on online sites. I wanted to publish my work. I decided to do a bit of research and that's when I discovered how rough the whole process is. I also learnt that many give up after realising the work they have to put in and the chance of them actually landing a good deal. Thus came Wiki Writers!

I created the wiki so that people like me …

  • DoctorMermaid

Hi, everyone! I'm DoctorMermaid, and I've started a new project, the Second Generation Wiki .

I've always been interested in looking up the canon descendants of characters in comic books (and movies, books, etc.). Family trees fascinate me in real life and in fiction. I started out with just a word document gradually collecting a list of second-generation characters in Marvel comics, but decided I wanted to spread out and, if others were interested, give them a chance to participate.

I've been working on the wiki for several months now, but it's just me on there, and there are a ton of fandoms I don't know much about.

My goals right now are A) to flesh out the pages more, since most of them are still very short, and B) increase the number of…

Welcome to my first blog on Community Central!

I think there a lot of blogs about what vandalism and spam are, and how to prevent it, but I don't think there are a lot of blogs that explain the consequences of a vandal or spammers actions. I am here to explain what potential consequences are and why it matters. I am not the best writer but as a reporter of spam and vandalism, I have seen first-hand how wiki editors feel, and believe me, it is not good.

One of the first consequences of spam and spammers is that it makes the wiki hard to read. Looking at a wiki's Wiki activity it gets really clogged and makes it hard to know what the actual editors are doing. If someone has a question it is hard for other editors to see and can leave a questio…

  • Megy Teckhonia

Hi, I'm Megy Teckhonia -- adoptive founder of the To Heart Wiki since March 27, 2017. For about nearly 4 years since the wiki was founded by the Fandom user GIR556 on November 25, 2013, but as of 2014 it was inactive. Right now, we have aren't enough editors (four active editors) and admins (we only have two -- me and Gensomura) here since the wiki's inactivity. So we need more editors that are got into the To Heart, a visual novel and anime.

While we still having some finishing touches to our wiki, we are still having more content to add on the said wiki such as:

    • Wiki guidelines
    • Character infoboxes for character pages
    • Episode pages
    • Revamped Main Page
    • Community Portal
    • Wiki background
    • Song pages (the songs used for the openings and ending in To Heart fra…

  • FiveCraft

Hi! I'm FiveCraft, beraucrat of the Little Shop Of Horrors Wiki! Little Shop of Horrors began as a low-budget B-Movie Horror Comedy by Roger Corman, but exploded in the 80's when Alan Menken and Howard Ashman made it into a Musical! Since then, there has been a movie made (in 1986) and theatres, High-Schools, and even Churches everywhere have produced the Musical, making it a fan-favorite for millions. Even just last year, the UK 2016 Tour of LSOH finished its run.

We are currently in the process of Re-Development. The orignal owner of the Wiki left, and I have adopted it, along with Rubyjlp. I have made extensive changes to the appearance of the wiki, but I am short-handed, and I only have Ruby (Who is off working on a LSOH production thei…

"Hello everyone, and welcome to tonight's episode of Critical Role, where a bunch of us nerdy voice actors sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons!"

Every Thursday night those words signal the beginning of one of my favorite shows: Critical Role.

Like the quote above says, Critical Role is a web series where a group of voice actors play Dungeons & Dragons together. It is produced by Geek & Sundry and streamed live on Twitch every Thursday at 7pm Pacific time.

If you play video games or watch anime then you're probably familiar with one or more of these voice actors, even if you don't know their names. Here's a quick rundown of the cast and some of their more well-known roles:

    • Matthew Mercer as the Dungeon Master
      • Voice of: McCree from Overwatch, Le…

Hello! Today I would like to share a new project about a wiki based on Telltale Games, a game company who makes point and click games.

I'm here so I can help attract contributors to this wiki so it can be improved. We need to fix a lot of stubs, complete a lot of articles, and I need some help making the Front Page looking great, though it might still look cool, it still needs improvement, such as the Mobile Front Page. We need to get a lot of articles and pages fixed and created so that we'll be able to request a spotlight for the wiki.

Here's the list of all reasons:

    • To fix stubs.
    • Make better templates.
    • To have enough moderators to help contributing.
    • So we can reach 200 pages.

Sadly, no. You need to follow criteria in order to become one, and o…

  • Gloamglozer

Far, far away, jutting out into the emptiness beyond, like the figurehead of a mighty stone ship, is the Edge. The Edge, the Deepwoods, the Stone Gardens, the Edgewater River. Great Glade and Hive. Names on a map. Names in the Edge Chronicles. Yet behind each name lie a thousand tales - tales that have been recorded in ancient scrolls, tales that have been passed down the generations by word of mouth - tales which even now are being told. Tales that were collected, assembled and categorised on the Edge Chronicles Wiki. What follows is but one of those tales.

Written by Paul Stewart and illustrated by Chris Riddell, the Edge Chronicles tell the tales from a different world, the Edge: There is Quint, a sky-pirate captain's son, who discovers …

  • JustLeafy

Hey guys, JustLeafy here, and today, I am going to list advantages and disadvantages about all of the editors in Fandom.

VisualEditor is the first editor that pretty much any desktop user tries when they make their first contribution in the entire site.

    • Easy to use for new users.
    • New interface.
    • It looks almost exactly the same as the article area when editing.
    • Good toolbar.

    • Very buggy and slow at times.
    • Sometimes does not save because somebody was editing an article for a long period of time.

Source Editor is a very helpful editor, especially when you master wikitext.

    • Very good for creating templates.
    • Can make extra features (e.g. collapsible text) which the VisualEditor (or other editors) can't make.
    • Not buggy.
    • A helpful editor when creating blogs.
    • It…
